SIAE MICROELETTRONICA has always been strongly focused in the manufacturing processes, the realization of its components, the assembly and final product integration.
In 2016 SIAE MICROELETTRONICA has invested in a new manufacturing plant in Italy, for the automated SMT manufacturing. The fully automated plant improves:
- the speed of manufacturing
- the precision and quality of mounting
resulting in a:
- better quality product realization
- extend product life and product reliability
The automated assembly line is capable of moving over 110'000 component/hour, resulting in a completed PCB every 20 seconds.

The state of the art manufacturing line, is complemented by several automated check point including 3D optical and X-Ray inspections to ensure the SMT process has been completed correctly even for the most elaborated components. Completed the manufacturing line, a set of automated testing procedures ensures the perfect functionality of each board and components. Each board goes through a process of final washing to remove excessive soldering material, and stored in hot rooms to ensure humidity doesn’t compromise the SMT process.
